Thanksgiving, or Friendsgiving, with company.
Not everyone makes it home for Thanksgiving, and some people just want a Friendsgiving of their own. Find someone nearby who'd enjoy a simple plan, from coffee and pie to dinner out.
Opens 17 November. Plans run 21 to 28 November. Free. Optional. Nobody sees your days.
How it works
Pick up to three days
Choose the days you'd like company, between 21 and 28 November. Thanksgiving itself is Thursday 26 November, and plenty of Friendsgivings land on the weekends either side.
Pick simple, public plans
Coffee & pie, a turkey trot or craft fair, an autumn walk, Thanksgiving dinner out, or a Friendsgiving party if you're already going to one. Everyone acts on their own.
Choose what you're looking for
Friends, Dating or Either: meet someone for the holiday, your way. You see people near you who chose the same day and the same plan, and whose choice fits yours. Cards show a count, plan labels and Friends or Dating, never the days.

The small print, in plain words
- Choose Friends, Dating or Either when you join. Friends meet Friends, Dating meets Dating, and Either meets anyone. Friends and Dating never match each other, and everything else you've set still applies.
- Completely voluntary and free. Leave any time from Settings and your days are removed.
- Amoetta doesn't host or organise parties. A "Friendsgiving party" plan just means you're already going to one.
- Meet in public places, tell a friend, and keep payment and personal details out of chat.
- No turkey required. Coffee and pie counts.
Questions
Is this only for dating?
No. Choose Friends, Dating or Either when you join, and meet someone for the holiday with no pressure. Cards show only the plan and, when it's settled, the word Friends or Dating.
Why is this only in the US?
Canadian Thanksgiving was in October, and the UK and France don't mark it, so this edition runs for US members only.
Does Amoetta organise events?
No. You choose days and simple plans, and meet people who chose the same. There are no events, tickets or hosts.
Who can see my days?
Nobody. Other members only see how many days you share and the plan labels. Leaving the edition removes your choices.
